After Effects Screenshots (Workflow)
"Behind the keyframes. Building the logic inside Adobe After Effects required a highly organized workflow. From managing complex pre-comps and shape layers to writing custom expressions for precise UI behaviors, this phase was all about technical problem-solving and dialing in the perfect easing curves."
Images & Styleframes
Establishing the visual language. Once the concept was locked in, I moved on to designing the core styleframes. The focus here was on clean typography, readable UI components, and a minimalist aesthetic that aligns with Claude’s brand identity, ensuring the design looked polished even before it started moving.
Ideation & Storyboarding
Before opening any software, I always begin on paper. Every great motion sequence starts with a simple line. These initial sketches and storyboards were crucial for blocking out the pacing, framing the UI elements, and mapping out the user journey before committing to animation and visuals.
This personal project explores a fresh motion design language for Claude, focusing on fluid UI animations and seamless interactions. The goal was to visualize how an advanced AI assistant feels—responsive, clean, and dynamic. Here is a deep dive into the creative process, from the initial spark of an idea to the final keyframes.
